This is done through: - Participating in the professional and ethical institutional development. - Leading Research and Development initiative by being a Center for Applied Research, and maximizing on AUM outreach facilities in the area of health, business, IT, Community Service, and value-added education. Affiliation: The American University of the Middle East is affiliated with Purdue University. The affiliation includes areas related to curriculum development, academic and administrative systems, quality assurance, observance of accreditation standards, and other related areas. The American University of the Middle East is also affiliated with University of Calgary in Canada to establish the College of Medicine at AUM and a university hospital.
